A Bumper October
Update
With pre-orders now up and cover images feeding out onto retailer websites, the projects I have been working on are starting to feel more real!
Here’s what’s coming from me in the UK in October 2026
Thorns in the Hollow
It’s great to see the moody, atmospheric cover for my next novel appearing on the book seller websites in all its glory.
Pre-orders are now being taken by Waterstones, Bookshop.org and Amazon if you want to secure your copy now. The release date is 22nd October. I often get asked about potential special editions at this stage, but authors don’t really know those details until a bit later on. However, I don’t currently anticipate this one being released in special edition - I’ll let you know if that changes.
Short Stories
My brand new short story, Waterloo Teeth, will be appearing in the horror anthology Ghost Lights, published by Flame Tree Press on 20 October. I had so much fun writing about haunted dentures, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
And if you missed my story Cameo the first time around in 2018, it’s now being reprinted as part of a stunning cursed objects anthology , Unhallowed Gifts, by Dead Ink on 1 October. My favourite topic! I can’t wait to read the other stories.
